Donors

A Heartfelt Thank you!

Words cannot express the gratitude for all the contributions you have made since the Mississippi Partnership began. In the last issue of our newsletter, we thanked the many businesses that donated items for the Silent Auction, which was held at the Spring Fundraising Dinner. Since then, many types of donations have come in. To thank each individual or business individually would take volumes. So we express our thanks to:

The many parishioners who donated gift cards at Christmas time.

All those who worked to make the Spring Dinner and Silent Auction possible.

The guests that came to the dinner and bid at the Silent Auction.

The many donor of tools and equipment, which we shipped to Mississippi before the Lifeteen Trip in April.

All those who contributed money to help fund some of the teens’ to travel with Lifeteen to Mississippi during Spring Break. Allowing them to go in your place, was a life-changing experience for them!

The donors of the money that funded the trailer.

The many teens who participated in the Coffee Cup Coin collection and to all those who generously donated their coins.

The school children of St. Ambrose, who sold bottled water at their spring concert, and then donated the money to St. Thomas parish.

The volunteers who worked on the Parish Welcoming Picnic for Fr. Lohan Memorial Day weekend.

The list could go on, but at the risk of forgetting someone, we will end here. Many silent "field angels" have contributed so that others could go down to Mississippi and help. We value your gift and want you to know how important this is in the ongoing partnership. Not all are able to travel for a week, but many are able to support the Partnership in another way.

If you have any innovative ideas to raise continued support for the people of St. Thomas Parish, please contact Erin Muir at 785-1351. Jesus often said, "Whatever you do for the least of your brethren, you do for Me." So Jesus thanks you and we thank you!
